5 out of 5 stars My favorite kid cook book!   June 17, 2010

Our daughter would eat most of the recipes and of most importantly they are healthy!

4 out of 5 stars Recipes are pretty good   June 3, 2010

I haven't used the book a lot- but the recipes I have used were good. They have a nice index of things the baby should eat and at what ages. It's a pretty handy book.

4 out of 5 stars Easy to make baby's food   April 23, 2010

Use your common sense when you read any baby food recipe books. Obviously avoid egg whites, honey, citrus for under 12 months old.

This book has a lot of great ideas - and helps guide you by age (i.e. cantalope is fine for 6-9). Very easy to navigate, very helpful. Love this book! Wish I hadn't wasted my time/money on other books before getting this.

5 out of 5 stars Very useful book   April 5, 2010

I will admit that I didn't start using this when my child was a baby, because she was a VERY picky eater, and I just found it easier to give her what I knew she would eat. (Plus, she was a terrible, terrible sleeper as an infant, so I was just too tired!)

However, now that she is 2.5, and will try new foods, although reluctantly, I find this book very useful to make things that are healthy and taste good. These recipes are helping me expand her horizons, and everything I have tried is really delicious. She's still leery of many vegetables, although getting better, so this is a good introduction.

3 out of 5 stars Helpful, but you'll learn!   March 4, 2010

I found this book helpful early on when starting out with making my son's food. And I did use it later on (9-12 months old) to make sure I was giving him food adequate for his curiosity and ability. But, I found myself making better recipes that were easier, yet just as healthy without the book. Buy it for your beginning use (and to put your mind at ease during certain stage changes), but you'll outgrow it... Borrow this book if you can!
