It's kind of an old fashioned Junior League Cookbook. These ladies were raising money by asking chapter participants in each state in the US to submit recipes. The money was being raised to fund trips for less fortunate women to a women's exposition in the late 1800s. Instead of using modern measurements, they say use 1/2 tea-cup. There are some good very old fashoned recipes in here. It is great for the cookbook collector or the adventurous cook.
